Vancouver is a coastal city and main seaport is located in the southwest Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada. It is bounded by the Strait of Georgia, the Fraser River, and the Coast Mountains. Vancouver is the name of Captain George Vancouver, a British researcher.
