Richmond Cultural Centre
First opened their doors in 1993, the Cultural Centre is a pleasure to view. Graceful rounded walls and pillars greet guests within the two-story rotunda entrance complete with grand staircase. The building houses the City of Richmond Archives, Richmond Arts Centre, Richmond Art Gallery, and Richmond Museum within its walls and is next to the main branch of the Richmond Public Library.

The shop features work from artists across the country sold on a consignment basis. In addition to retail sales, Lulu Arts: Shop in the City has a Gift Registry, a Corporate Gift Program and it highlights an artist of the month.

Air and Land Activities in Richmond
Richmond has a wide variety of urban, suburban, rural and natural settings. You can explore all four using the city's extensive walking/cycling trail network. Places of include Steveston (a historic fishing village), Garry Point Park, Iona Beach Regional Park and the Terra Nova observation deck, from which you can view migratory birds in the river estuary and watch planes taking off and landing at Vancouver International Airport.
Golf is a year-round activity in Richmond, which has many courses and facilities. Other exciting ways to spend time in the city include go-karting, shopping for fish fresh off the boat at Steveston Pier as well as fruit and vegetable picking at local farms.
